About The Author, Photographer, and

The Mermaid

When Kimberly became a mother,  she became increasingly aware of the state our world was in. She wanted to do something to help the Planet and in turn raise her children in a better World. Kimberly was deeply inspired by her daughter’s love of fables as well as her husband’s acclaimed images of a world under the Sea. From this inspiration was born her second children’s book LAST NIGHT I SWAM WITH A MERMAID.

Michael Muller is responsible for the breathtaking images that bring “Mermaid” to life. Before his wife Kimberly expressed her desire to make the book, Michael had been fighting to save the ocean. Michael has worked with the Sea Shepherds on numerous occasions and is a strong advocate to fight shark Finning and overfishing the oceans. When he is not photographing the most recent superhero movie poster, he is doing what he can to promote marine life conservation.

Hannah Fraser is a professional mermaid, who creates her own functional yet highly exquisite mermaid tails. Her passion began at an early age when she created her first tail at age 9, and she is rumored to be the first freelance professional mermaid in the world. Working in film and television for many years, Hannah's specialty has evolved into underwater performance. She has featured in short films, music videos, advertising campaigns, photo shoots, environmental documentaries, large-scale events, aquariums, and parties around the globe. She recently appeared in the Oscar award winning film, "The Cove", and stars in an upcoming National Geographic special risking her life to swim with Great White Sharks! Hannah has trained to hold her breath for minutes at a time and can swim to depths of over 30 feet. A passionate environmentalist, Hannah has also traveled the world speaking at events and conventions about her experiences swimming with great white sharks, humpback whales, seals, dolphins, turtles, manta rays, and other marine life to inspire people to conserve the Ocean environment.
